May 06, 2008: Unannounced Mother's Day Special! We'll be serving complimentary Sunday morning tea for lodge guests accompanied by scones, British jam, and Devonshire Clotted Cream. Trust us, the clotted cream (with a consistency somewhere between cream and butter) alone is worth the extra gasoline. Seattle Magazine: This month Seattle Magazine has published an "Ultimate Coast Guide". We're pleased to be a featured lodging. Look for us on page 78.
New Online Booking System Implemented You can now book with us online in real-time! A few clicks, a little typing, and you're booked. You'll receive a confirming email immediately, followed by an actual letter if time allows.

Near-term Availability: It's a scenically incomparable guest wasteland out here. Come on out.

Details
If you'd like to purchase a gift certificate, you can go about it in several ways. Most directly,
give us a call (360-374-6295) to set it up. Usually, individuals giving a certificate have a
particular room or price range in mind, although the standard certficate can very easily be
rewritten to specify a particular dollar amount rather than a particular room or rate.
Certificates can be "open" , i.e., good at any time of year - in this case we would charge the
summer rate, or "restricted" to our off-season dates (Oct 30 - May 15), in which case we would charge
a lower rate. We'll charge your credit card at the time of booking and then email you a link
to a personalized gift certificate online with 48 hr. The link to the Online Certificate will take the form
http://www.manitoulodge.com/giftcertificates/donor_to_recipient.html.
Certificates are valid for 2 years from their issue date, and, God-willing, will remain posted
until redeemed or expired.
Alternately, you could send us an online reservation request for a gift certificate. The request form
requires you to specify a particular room on a particular date, but if you use the comments/questions field
to inform us that the request is for a certificate and provide the name of the person to whom you'd
like to be the recipient (and address, if you'd like the certificate sent directly to the recipient),
we will probably be smart enough to catch on and handle the rest. We will email you a confirmation as well as linkto your certificate.
