Manitou Lodge
Breakfast Baskets

We provide a complete "Breakfast-in-a-Basket", allowing our guests the flexibility to eat whenever they wish. This approach has been adopted after observing that our "typical" guests are very much activity-oriented. They're itching to get out to the nearby beaches & tidepools at low tide, have made plans to visit the rainforest, beaches, & local hot springs in a single day, or are sprinting to Sea-Tac airport, the Victoria Ferry, the San Juans, or the Mt. Rainier/Mt. St. Helens area.

Breakfast Basket: Here's how breakfast works: The breakfast baskets and other materials will be in the refrigerator located in (or, in some cases, just outside) each room. Each room has a dining area with a refrigerator, microwave and toaster, at which we've provided plates, juice glasses, napkins, flatware, etc. In addition, we set several places at the large table in the lodge main room for guests who might like to eat breakfast there and chat with us or other guests. There are several picnic tables on the grounds for outdoor dining in warm weather.

Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate/Orange Juice: Each room has an individual coffeemaker with coffee packets. A carafe of orange juice is provided in each breakfast basket. Extra coffee and juice will be available from approximately 8 AM in the lodge main room. There is a reasonably extensive selection of teas and hot chocolate packets available in the amenities area in the lodge main room. Tea and hot chocolate drinkers may want to make their selection before retiring.

Please Note: The breakfast baskets are compiled and placed in each room's refrigerator usually before check-in. Hence, if anyone in your party is vegetarian, lactose-, wheat-, or otherwise intolerant of something we might be likely to serve, we will need to know about dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
